Our winter 2010 auction features a fine selection of California and American Paintings, Silver, Furniture and Decorative arts from the Collection of Stephen Hohener and local estates. Highlights include the working sketch books and ephemera of noted western artist G. T. Brown. A fresh, Spring landscape by William Wendt along with paintings by Charles Rollo Peters, William Keith and Giuseppe Cadenasso; Regional silver by Shreve, Vanderslice, Tucker and Braverman and Levy as well as American examples by Gorham, Wendt and Black, Ball and Frost are represented as well as fine furniture by Herter, Horner and Belter. “Song of the Breadmaker” by Allen Houser is one of several important bronzes to be offered.
