This
sale may be a bit smaller in number of lots, but it’s
loaded with fine quality objects.
The
Collection of Joseph Goodstein, a renowned Knoxville architect,
contains a wonderful group of sculpture by Arnaldo Pomodoro,
a number of paintings, prints, and sculptural objects by Yaacov
Agam, works by Vasarely, P.J. Mene, Aharon Bazalel, Rodin, Calder,
K. Appel, Le Corbusier, Dali, and G. Boulanger, and a beautiful
Tiffany Studios acorn border table lamp.
From
the Atlanta Collection of David A. McGinnis come a number of
both old and new Lalique glass items, in the company of a nice
group of other art glass including Gallé and Daum Nancy
from an Atlanta Private Collection. A Private Georgia Collection
offers 9 works by Paul Jenkins, and we have a fabulous 1920s
diamond and platinum bracelet from The Collection of Jasper
T. Hogan, Jr. of Macon, Georgia.
Great
silver from a South Florida Estate, property from The Collection
of William Hinshaw Gardner of Jacksonville, Florida, property
from a Bluemont, Virginia farm, along with a nice selection
of furniture and paintings round-out what we think will be an
exciting Fall Sale.
