From an historic
"Old Towne" Alexandria home, the Collection of Trudye
H. Fowler offers a broad range of Georgian and Continental furniture
and decorative arts, as well as a fine group of European and American
paintings. A George III nest of five tables possibly by Gillows,
a pair of George III style mahogany armchairs, a group of late
18th/early 19th century needlework stitched pictures, as well
as Chinese export porcelain, an early 19th century English ceramic
part table service, and Oriental rugs and carpets, all illustrate
the Fowlers' gracious lifestyle in New York City, Washington,
DC and Virginia.
"Timing
is everything", particularly when a well known Atlanta designer
changes his lifestyle. "Property of a Georgia Private Collection"
offers a diverse group of Asian and Continental Furniture and
Decorations including a particularly nice group of French style
