Description Group of Ten Pewter Articles, Probably English, 19th C., comprising a small cylindrical pitcher with wooden handle, marked indistinctly 'LONDON' inside (5 1/4" H); a teapot with foliate-form finial (7 1/4" H); a gourd-form teapot with side-hinged lid, marked indistinctly inside and inscribed 'IP' (5 1/2" H); a two-handled serving dish with domed cover with acorn finial (8 3/4" H); a teapot of acorn-form body with bell-shaped cover and spurred handle (8 1/2" H); two teapots with conical lid, reel-turned neck and domed foot, one marked indistinctly underneath (8 1/4" and 8 1/2" H); a teapot of tapering cylindrical form with conical lid and molded waist 'belt' (8 1/2" H); a coffee pot of cylindrical form with domed lid, spurred handle and applied waist 'belt' (10 1/2"H); a coffee pot of lighthouse form (10 1/4" H). Condition All with use wear, denting and some pitting. Most unmarked, any marks rubbed. Pinprick holes to handle of lighthouse pot, which is possibly replaced as well as spout. Patina losses and irregularities throughout. Minor seam separations throughout. Melon-form pot possibly altered with hinge now on the side. Pitcher with losses to handle.
