Federal Country Butternut Secretary, Probably Northern New England, Early 19th C., upper section with pediment front and side cornice, adjustable wooden shelves behind glazed bookcase doors; lower section with divided interior, fall-front rests on long drawer with shaped drawer front, shaped apron. (RICH860)

73" H x 41 3/4" W x 27 1/2" D (open) or 18 1/4" D (closed)

Condition
Surface now with very little finish. Side pediments loose., with some breaks and losses. Wooden pulls replaced. Vertical strip on one cupboard door replaced. Surface abrasions throughout. Some splits to case sides, some adjacent top edge of case. Minor abrasions and losses to feet.
