Description Chippendale Cherrywood and Pine Five-Drawer Tall Chest, Probably Southern, 18th C., molded cornice, thumb-molded graduated drawer fronts, shaped aprons on tall bracket feet. Case sides extend to floor with applied facing plates. (CRUB856)

Condition Minor splits and separations throughout with wear commensurate with age and use. Brasses possibly original. Some drawers with replaced runners. Small repair to proper right front corner of cornice. Small rectangular patch to proper left side of case. Very minor areas of infill, especially on base. Small old loss to base molding on proper right side adjacent to back of case.
